A full power back up plan is set up at Jaunpur University to supply the proper voltage demand without fluctuations. A 33 KV substation has been installed with 9 transformers. One main power house has been set up along with 5 small power houses to transmit power to all the blocks of the university.

The project aims for 24 hours uninterrupted power supply. We  started with finding the perfect site and establishing a work zone and preparing a substation site followed by laying of foundation and installing the grounding grid with steel structures and then finally installing the electrical equipments.
